From the thorn emerges the flower….Join other Mentor/Protégé pairs for a night at the ECC Theatre. Enjoy chocolate popcorn and a variety of concessions while seeing the movie “La Mission” featuring Benjamin Bratt.

Time Management and Technology
Wednesday, October 17th 7pm-8pm
Curious to know about the different apps that can help you manage your time? Want to know the different ways you can leverage technology to your academic benefit? Learn from Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students how you can get ahead and make the grades all at the touch of your phone or computer. This class will also cover non-technology ways to address stress, time management and other organizational habits of highly effective students. Free giveaways!

Saturday, November 3, 2012 (Meet at the ECC at Noon)
Mentors and Proteges meet up to explore the city and visit the EMP Museum where music, sci fi and pop culture come together! Check out Seattle native, Jimi Hendrix’ guitar and the exhibit that honors his contributions to music and marks his 70th birthday. Free lunch and museum admission provided.

Art and Identity: Custom Shoes
Wednesday, November 14, 7pm-8pm
This workshop uses the process of creating a custom shoe as a platform for exploring personal identity. Come design a pair of kicks and kick-it with fellow Husky’s at the Ethnic Cultural Center. This workshop includes technical guidance and one-on-one support for students as they create their own shoe design and execute the design on a canvas shoe. .
