he goal of the
Lipid/Nutrition/Metabolic Bone Disease Clinic is to provide comprehensive preventative care to dyslipidemic
patients at risk for premature coronary artery disease by addressing the lipid disorders,
hypertension, diabetes and other risk factors. Patients with specific
nutritional/metabolic and bone disorders are also seen, as well as patients on home nutrition
support or patients in whom nutritional disturbances may be playing a causal role in
disease processes, or those in whom an underlying medical condition has resulted in
malnutrition. A Registered Dietitian with special expertise in cholesterol and lipoprotein
