CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS
Using new technologies to improve diabetes therapy, particularly
with the use of real-time continuous glucose sensors. I am also
interested in the use of insulin for in-patient diabetes, and the non-glycemic
effects of insulin, particularly its anti-inflammatory actions.
I have recently focused on the role of glycemic variability in the
pathogenesis of diabetes-related complications.
