Baikal Institute of Business and International Management of Irkutsk State University (BIBIM ISU) is one of the youngest educational entities of Irkutsk State University. Established as Baikal Educational Complex by a special enactment of the Russian government and approved by U.S.S.R. State Committee for Public Education (November 20, 1990), it was reorganized into an institute in January 2000.

BIBIM focuses on comprehensive implementation of innovative international projects in business and management.

BIBIM is East Siberia Regional Chapter of the Business Education Association of Russia; Participant of Presidential Management Training Initiative Program; Beneficiary of National Fund of Personal Training; Member of Interstate Association of Postgraduate Education.

BIBIM main activities include:

Training of specialists in business, management, and electronic commerce; training of top-level managers; training in English; extended personnel education; comprehensive implementation of new ITs in business, management, and education; consulting.
