Health-System Pharmacy Administration Resident
UW Medicine
The UW Medicine Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency is a post-graduate program, providing 26 months of training firmly centered on the principles of leadership and administration. The program combines academic studies with pharmacy practice management residency training. The academic component is comprised of enrollment in the UW Executive Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program.
Throughout this residency program, pharmacy residents gain an unusually broad based and high-level experience within health-system pharmacy leadership. In addition to the completion of clinical and administrative rotations through the UW Medicine Department of Pharmacy Services, residents earn the MHA degree. This combination of practice and academics affords the opportunity to learn from the region's finest health care professionals and leaders. The UW Executive MHA Program provides the resident with an unparalleled opportunity to interact as classmates with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals on an equal footing in a safe and dynamic environment.
