Prerequisite Coursework
MHA Program:
We require that MHA applicants complete a 100- or 200-level course (community college or on-line university courses are acceptable options) in microeconomics, statistics, and accounting in order to ensure that all students enter the program with the same foundation of knowledge in these areas. These courses do not need to be completed prior to submitting your application, but if admitted, you must complete each course before enrolling in the first quarter of the program. A minimum grade of 2.7 or above is required. A pass/fail grade will not be accepted. If you have any questions about these prerequisites, please contact us.
Executive MHA Program:
Our curriculum is taught with the expectation that incoming students understand the concepts and have the basic skills taught in 100- or 200-level accounting, statistics, and microeconomics courses. Considering the experience level of our Executive MHA applicants, prerequisite coursework in these areas is not required. However, we ask that each applicant review their practical experience and previous education to determine whether their knowledge and skill in these areas equal a fundamental level of understanding. If not, we recommend taking 100- or 200-level coursework in preparation for entry into the program. If you have any questions, please contact us.
