Prerequisite Coursework
MHA Program
For Students Enrolling 2010: In order to ensure that all students enter the program with the same foundation of knowledge in financial accounting and quantitative methods (statistics), all applicants accepting our offer of admission will be required to complete designated online tutorials through Harvard Business Publishing (HBP). Specific instructions for accessing the appropriate tutorials will be provided to all accepted applicants. Both tutorials must be successfully completed before enrolling in the first quarter of the program. If you have questions about this, please contact us.
Executive MHA Program
For Students Enrolling 2009: Our curriculum is taught with the expectation that incoming students understand the concepts and have the basic skills taught in 100- or 200-level accounting and statistics. Considering the experience level of our Executive MHA applicants, prerequisite coursework in these areas is not required. However, we ask that each applicant review their practical experience and previous education to determine whether their knowledge and skill in these areas equal a fundamental level of understanding. If not, we recommend taking advantage of the HBP tutorials referenced above (under the MHA Program). If you have any questions or wish to pursue either tutorial, please contact the Program Manager.
For Students Enrolling 2010: It is anticipated that incoming 2010 Executive MHA students will be required to take the accounting and quantitative methods tutorials referenced above (under the MHA Program). Please refer back to this page after the 1st of January.
