- BIOMEDICAL
RESEARCH INTEGRITY SERIES
Administered through the Department of Medical History and Ethics, this summer
series was developed several years ago by the UW School of Medicine in response
to a directive by the Public Health Service (PHS) requiring that all post-doctoral
researchers and graduate students supported by NIH training grants be provided
with training in the ethics of research. Additionally, the Medical School
Executive Committee recommends that all trainees, regardless of funding source,
participate in the BRI Series during their training.
