Drug Treatment
STZ and citrate buffer

Citrate buffer make fresh weekly or freeze aliquots:
            Dissolve 0.74g Na citrate in 50 ml dH2O
            Adjust pH to 4.5
            Filter sterilize

Weighing STZ:
            Weigh 20 mg per tube and freeze

Injection:
            Add 1 ml citrate buffer to STZ
            Must use within 5 minutes
            Inject 2X body weight for dose of 40 mg/kg (e.g., 40ml for 20 g mouse)
