High School OutreachBring your students to one of our public lectures!
"My eyes have been opened to a whole new opportunity in science as a career and I had a blast in the process" -Mariner HS Student "One of the highlights of my teaching career" -Mariner HS Teacher
All high school students, parents, teachers, and members of the general public are welcome to attend our public lectures. They feature dynamic speakers presenting relevant and timely topics in a language everyone can understand. We also have several slots available for small groups of high school students to have a more in-depth experience, including dinner with the speaker and our Molecular Medicine grad students, lab tours and/or hands-on science projects relevant to the lecture topic, and a reception after the lecture. Our lecture dates for 2010 are:
Tuesday, January 12, 2010 Tuesday, February 2, 2010 Tuesday, March 2, 2010 Tuesday, April 6, 2010
If you are interested in bringing your students for a full evening program on one of the above dates, please contact Christina Szabo at mmtp@u.washington.edu.
Support us in creating even more great public education events! |
