Mariner High School 2008
On February 6, seven students from Mariner High School had dinner with Molecular Medicine grad students and our speaker, Wes Van Voorhis, before his talk on malaria (to see the lecture, visit our webcasts page). They toured labs with the grad students and then rolled up their sleeves to dissect mosquitoes, load gels, and do other hands-on activities presented by Theresa Britschgi of Seattle Biomedical Research Institute's BioQuest program and Maureen Munn of UW Genome Sciences Education Outreach.
