All Master of Public Health students are required to complete a practicum project. The MPH Practicum Office manages the practicum for the five departments within the School that offer the MPH degree. If you are interested in applying to the Master of Public Health program, you must contact the department you are interested in within the School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
The School of Public Health and Community Medicine offers several areas of study within its MPH Program. The Epidemiology Department offers programs in Epidemiology, Global Health, Maternal & Child Health, Nutritional Sciences and Public Health Genetics. The Health Services Department offers programs in Global Health, Peace Corps Masters International, Maternal & Child Health, Health Care and Population Health Research, Health Policy Analysis and Process, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and the Extended Degree Program. Additional MPH programs are available through: Biostatistics, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, and the Occupational Medicine Residency program. The overall responsibility for ensuring that students have met the requirements for completion of the practicum lies with the Department/program.
