This will be the largest and most high profile event the D Center has hosted to date. We are so thrilled to be welcoming Ms. Girma to UW and that UW President Cauce has accepted our invitation to introduce her. The event has generated a great deal of interest among the Husky community and the greater Seattle area and Ms. Girma&#8217;s message surrounding access to higher education is a vital conversation we are hoping to spark among all spheres of the UW.<\/p>\n<p>Details:<br \/>\nWednesday, February 13th 2019<br \/>\nHUB Lyceum Doors at 4:30. Named as a Champion of Change by President Obama, Haben also received the Helen Keller Achievement Award, and a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30. Haben\u00a0travels the world consulting and public speaking, teaching clients the benefits of fully accessible\u00a0products and services. Haben is a talented storyteller who helps people frame difference as an asset.
