Add or hide pages

You can add or hide pages to make MyUW specific to your needs.

Add, remove, or reset content

Make MyUW even more useful by adding content that you need or removing content that you don’t.

By default, when you use MyUW on campus, images display inside the MyView box. Depending on your Internet connection speed, when you log in to MyUW off campus, you may want images to appear as links. This decreases the time required to load MyFrontPage.

Change theme

You can change the appearance of MyUW pages by selecting a different theme, which consists of a photographic banner and accent color.

Content not available

Personal content on MyUW, such as your Class Schedule, is provided by a service outside of MyUW. If MyUW has trouble retrieving the content, you will get an error message in the content box.

Create personal links

Add links to content that you want to see often, such as a class Web site.

No content on right side of page

In Internet Explorer 7 or earlier, if a MyUW page is wider than your browser window, the content on the far right disappears. To restore the content, click the corresponding box heading below the tab title on the left.

Rearrange content

You can rearrange the content boxes on any page of MyUW.

Set a different page to open first

By default, you will see MyFrontPage after you log in to MyUW. You can change the default setting so that a different page appears.

Set links to open in the same window

By default, each link on MyUW is set to open in a new window. You can change this default setting so that links open in the same window.
