VPL Focus: Task A: Earth as an Exoplanet
Amber Britt is currently a Master’s student in the Master’s to PhD Bridge Program at Fisk University. Currently, her research is centered on analyzing the production and destruction of methane in the Martian atmosphere using photochemical modeling techniques. She is also developing a Design Reference Mission for the LUVOIR telescope by simulating observations of Earth analog atmospheres. In the future, Amber is looking to apply her knowledge of photochemistry to the consideration of methane as an exoplanet biosignsture and other related areas.
