Metadata (Data about data or how the map was made)

This is a native of the Eastern United States that has been introduced into Washington. It occurs in city parks, college campuses, and some residential areas that have been planted with a variety of trees, especially nut-bearing broadleaf trees, many of which are native to the eastern U.S. Is Known on both sides of the Cascades, but observations have been spotty. Seen from Olympia to Seattle in the Puget Trough, and may be as far south as Vancouver.

All zones within the range were core habitat areas since its association with cities makes it somewhat independent of climate.
