Crescent Valley Community Meetings

Pierce County Biodiversity Alliance (PCBA)

The second meeting's agenda.
Fifty-four people attended the second Gig Harbor BMA Community Meeting, primarily to hear the presentation about the 1,000 acre forest. However, 28 people stayed through the entire meeting and helped identify stressors on the system.

The Pierce County Biodiversity Alliance (PCBA), Gig Harbor Community Stewardship Planning handout was distributed explaining:

  • Why Gig Harbor BMA was selected
  • Biodiversity
  • June, 2005 Bioblitz summary data
  • Key ecological attributes to the system
  • Stressors and their description

Participants reviewed the material and added more information to the stressors. The work will continue at the next month's meeting.
