Adopt-a-Farmer Project
The Adopt-a-Farmer Project began in 1999 by Diane Petersen's 4th grade and Cathy Nelson's 2nd grade classes. It has continued each year with 4th graders adopting local farmers who report Short-horned Lizard (Phrynosoma douglassi) sightings to their students.
Previously, the website has been updated with new graphs and references to new projects.
Beginning in 2004, each year's class will have their own web page illustrating the progression from year-to-year.
