As each state's 'sequence' is developed, species lists and codes are added to a national table allowing users to select a state's specific species list on the handheld without reloading the software, yet the data screens remain the same allowing for consistent data reporting.
State sequences currently completed for Version 3: Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington. This list will be updated as other state sequences come available. For more information for developing a sequence for your state contact Karen Dvornich (vicon@u.washington.edu)

What is CyberTracker?CyberTracker software is a database management program that allows programmers to develop their own data collection "sequence" consisting of screens, data fields, and icons. Cybertracker Conservation developed the software and its mammal tracking data collection "sequence" was designed to preserve the ancient tracking skills of Bushmen in the Kalahari for posterity. It allows Bushmen to record when and where wildlife is seen by pressing icons on the screen that represent different animal species and behaviors.
