In collaboration with Students for Sensible Drug Policy, the Neurobiology Club will be holding a talk by Dr. Chavkin on the neurobiology of addiction! Dr. Chavkin is a professor of pharmacology and his research is focused on the mechanisms of opioid receptors and the role of endorphins in mood regulation and drug addiction risk.
