Research Interests

  • Cellular and Molecular mechanisms of innate immune response to injury in the kidney with special interest in monocyte/macrophage biology
  • Functions of pericytes in angiogenesis, capillary rarefaction and fibrosis after injury
  • Stem cells in kidney repair and regeneration
