Current Research

My main research interest is studying the causes and consequences of age-related kidney disease and to utilize novel biomarkers for the early detection of kidney damage and kidney function decline. I am particularly interested in investigating innovative statistical and epidemiological methods to conduct this research. I am also involved in projects that look at risk factors for cardiovascular disease in the kidney, specifically, looking at factors that mediate the excess risk of cardiovascular disease among patients with various stages of kidney disease.
