University of Washington Residents and Students

Residents and student rotating through the nephrology services will spend one month at any of the following sites.  Program curriculum documents are reviewed by the attending and signed by the residents and students at the start of the rotation.  Each site curriculum outlines the goals and objectives, the lines of responsibility for patient care, and the rotation schedules.

Visiting Residents

Visiting resident and fellow policy and procedures:
A visiting resident/fellow is defined as a physician in training currently appointed to a position in an ACGME accredited training program that is not affiliated with any University of Washington Graduate Medical Education Program, who wishes to participate in a training program at a UW School of Medicine training site.

All visiting residents/fellows must be approved by the VPMA/Dean of the School of Medicine prior to beginning training at University of Washington Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, or other UW Medicine sites of training.
