• Glomerulonephritis: Mechanisms, outcomes, predictors of progression

CURRENT RESEARCH

• VA Pathways: Evaluation of racial and ethnic differences in progression of kidney disease in veterans with diabetes
• Team Care: NIH-sponsored randomized trial to determine the benefit of collaborative intervention to improve outcomes in a primary care cohort with diabetes and cardiovascular disease
• Increasing Kidney Awareness Network: NIH RO1 to develop effective transplant educational material to increase transplant awareness among minority populations
• VA NEPHRON D: VA randomized trial to determine the benefit of ACE and ARB versus ARB in diabetic nephropathy
• Home Hemodialysis: Primary cohort to determine benefit of daily home therapy versus conventional home hemodialysis
