Research Interests
- To understand molecular pathogenesis of Spinocerebellar Ataxia. The current project is to characterize the mechanisms for PKC related and polyglutamine related neurodegeneration in SCA through studying genotype phenotype correlations, performing functional studies in vitro and generating transgenic mice.
- To identify the gene responsible for Paroxysmal Nonkinesigenic Dyskinesia by positional cloning.
- Genetic analysis in cavernous cerebral malformation.
