Identification of a new Brainstem Respiratory Center

Dear Neuroscience Community,

Congratulations to Neuroscience Graduate Student Tatiana Anderson and her advisor, Nino Ramirez, on their identification of a new brainstem respiratory center that is responsible for the post inspiratory phase of breathing rhythms. Neurobiology & Behavior alumna Julia Pollak also contributed to the work. This work is getting a lot of press.
