The following Funds have been established for donations and gifts to the department:
- 64-1448, Neurology Discretionary Fund:This fund supports educational and research activities which promotes the department's capability to meet its program mission, particularly those activities which are not supported by other University and State resources.
- 63-3831, Neurology Research Fund:This fund supports research for nerve system disorders, stroke, Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), cerebral palsy, and other neurological disorders and diseases.
- 65-2970, Neurology Education Fund:This fund supports educational activities, such as Neurology Grand Rounds, within the department.
- 65-3571, Jim Lambright Niemann Pick Type-C Research Fund: Neimann-Pick, type C, a sister disease to neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, prevents the body from using cholesterol normally and causes irreversible damage to the brain and nervous system. Your support helps UW Medicine scientists continue their potentially life-saving efforts to find a cure for this deadly disease.
