To accommodate 220+ students per year and give everyone a good learning experience, we will be using community neurologists and non-Seattle WWAMI sites in addition to the core hospitals: University, Harborview, and VA. Some of the best learning may be out in the community where one-on-one teaching will be the model.
On the site pages below, you will find information on housing, transportation, contacting the site, onboarding forms, and many other important issues particular to the site. Please remember to review this well in advance of the clerkship start date.
You should have a stethoscope, reflex hammer, tuning fork (128Hz), and name tag on the first day. All clinics will have oto-ophthalmoscopes available, but you will probably want your own for seeing patients on the wards. A "pocket" syllabus will either be handed out on the first day or sent in the mail. A printable (PDF) version is also available on the Pocket Syllabus page.
