Neuroradiology Rotation Information
There are many Neuroradiology experiences available
to Neurology residents, including daily rounds while on service at Harborview Medical Center. For additional experience, time can be spent with the Neuroradiology team at either the University of Washington Medical Center or Harborview Medical Center. Interventional Neuroradiology offers a more in-depth approach at diagnosis of neurological disease, and time can be spent scrubbed into procedures at either hospital. MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, angiography, MR spectroscopy, and MR vasculography (MRA, MRV) are techniques that can be studied during this rotation. A weekly Stroke Conference occurs at Harborview Medical Center, which includes a thorough radiology review of each case.
