Neuro-Oncology

Many people have been diagnosed with brain and spinal cord cancers, which can often appear suddenly with little or no warning.

Neuro-Oncology is the branch of medicine that cares for people with these types of cancers and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance's neuro-oncology team is partners with one of the best facilities in the world for treating brain cancers, UWMC

The neuro-oncology team is focused on providing personalized state-of-the art treatment to people with brain and spinal cord tumors. The first part of our mission is to make sure you understand your condition, your options for dealing with your tumor, and what happens after treatment is complete. The other part of our mission includes being dedicated to research so the best treatments are available to our patients. We have an active research team that works toward developing and indentifying clinical studies from the National Cancer Institute and the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, as well as studies sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry.
