Introduction The term "brain tumor" can be a very frightening diagnosis for patients and their families. One of the functions of our neuro-oncology health care team is to help you understand your condition and it's treatment. We will familiarize you with some of the resources that are available to you, help with some of the stress you may be experiencing, and assist you in obtaining the best possible care. As you read through our information, please remember that you are a unique individual and, whereas you may share some characteristics with other individuals who have the same type of tumor, your symptoms and your response to treatment are specific to you.
