Biography

Dr. Michelle Chowdhary is an assistant professor in neurological surgery. She practices general neurosurgery with specialty interest in spine disorders, brain tumors, intraventricular pathology, Chiari malformation, and syringomyelia.

Dr. Chowdhary earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her M.D. at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Chowdhary then finished residency in neurological surgery at University of Washington in 2015.  She also completed a spine fellowship during that time.

Brain tumors; Chiari malformation; syringomyelia; intraventricular tumors, Spinal tumors(intradural and extradural), Neurofibromatosis, Endoscopic cranial surgery, hydrocephalus disorders, spontaneous CSF leak.
