Medical Student Positions: Clinical Clerkship in Neurological Surgery
Welcome to the University of Washington Visiting Student program in Neurosurgery. We offer a unique four-week clinical elective for qualified 3rd and 4th year medical students, allowing students to participate in a world-renowned academic neurosurgical program. During this rotation, students are active members of the neurological surgery service, participating in daily rounds, assisting in the operating room, evaluating new patients in the emergency room and clinics, and attending and participating in educational conferences. These activities provide a valuable experience for those interested in neurosurgery as a career, and a unique look inside a high-volume, cutting edge neurosurgical residency program.
