Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a 764-bed teaching and tertiary care center, serving as the Pittsburgh campus of Drexel University School of Medicine, as well as Temple School of Medicine.
Fellowship applications are being accepted immediately for a recent increase in program complement – two (2) positions beginning July 1, 2013. The ACGME-accredited program is entering into the 9th year of fellowship training, which consists of a one-year post residency training in EMG/EEG/Epilepsy Monitoring and Surgery-EP’s-Sleep-Chemodenervation. One position has filled – one position exists for July 1, 2013.
Candidate requirements: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Adult or Pediatric Neurology residency in an accredited US or Canadian program. Training provides eligibility to sit for the ‘added qualifications’ examination in Clinical Neurophysiology, and the ABEM examination in EMG/NCV.
