Ingrid Dudek is a Senior Specialist and Vice President at Christie’s in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art Department. Based in New York, she has worked and studied in the Chinese contemporary art field for nearly fifteen years, starting as a Fulbright fellow in Beijing in the late 1990s, where she eventually stayed to manage the CourtYard Gallery. She has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from New York University, completed as part of a PhD project on the production of value in the Chinese art world (a research project which remains in perpetuity). She joined Christie’s in 2006.
