Nguyen Phuong Linh was born and lives in Hanoi, Vietnam. She is one of the most active and promising contemporary artists in Vietnam. Besides being a visual artist she programs and organizes art events at Nhasan studio – the non profit studio of experimental art in Hanoi Vietnam.

Nguyen’s work is discussed in Nora A. Taylor’s presentation Not for Sale: Women, Experimental Art and the Marketing of Non-Commercial Art in Vietnam.
