1) Nest # H02-13662, 8 Nov 2002, 14:32:33 to 14:33:08. Cabanas San Isidro, Napo Province, 5 km west of Cosanga, 2050 m elev. The pendant ball nest, hanging just to the left of center on the screen, contains two young nestlings. No adult is around the nest at the momment. A Long-tailed Weasel (Mustela frenata) approaches the nest by climbing the clay bank behind it. After several attempts to tear down the nest, it successfully pulls the nest down and devours the nestlings out of sight of the camera.
