FM1-43 Movie - Multiphoton image of
corticostriatal terminals from mice labeled with the
styryl dye FM1-43. Loading of FM1-43 by cortical bipolar
stimulation reveals linear arrays of fluorescent puncta
forming en passant corticostriatal afferents. Changes
in fluorescence intensity during restimulation demonstrate
dopamine-dependant modification of terminal activity.
