About the Center: The Center for Health and Behavioral Training (CHBT) provides training in the prevention and management of STDs, TB, HIV/AIDS and the use of behavioral and social science to strengthen prevention programs. CHBT is part of Community Services, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, University of Rochester, working collaboratively with the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine, the Center for Health and Behavior, Department of Psychiatry, Syracuse University; and a partner of the Monroe County Department of Public Health. Behavioral intervention training is provided for the Eastern Geographic Quadrant, including the CDC's Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Intervention (DEBI) program. Clinical training is provided as a satellite clinic for the Part I, New York City Department of Health, STD/HIV Prevention Training Center. |
