Copy of a "2936" field record A Day on the Trail of STDs in Hypothetica County is a computer-based self-study training program to strengthen entry-level, field investigation skills. Using this CD-ROM delivered simulation you will play the role of an STD field investigator on temporary assignment.

Guided by a supervisor and a co-worker in the office, and by an unusual colleague in the field, you will:

work for a "day" at a simulated STD office;
attend communications skills training;
work up field records;
complete field visits with clients; and
document your work.

This simulation training program was developed by the New York State Center for STD/HIV Prevention Training with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
