NTUF houses a suite of instruments suitable for the characterization and fabrication of structures and devices at the nanoscale. You will find detailed descriptions of these instruments and their applications in the Research Tools section. Use the Access section for inquiries, new user registration, and for equipment scheduling and account management if you already are a registered user. The Training section contains comprehensive equipment notes. Selected research projects and accomplishments are highlighted in the Research Activities section.
The NTUF operates jointly with the College of Engineering's Microfabrication Facility (MFF), and has partnerships with the Department of Energy Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) operated by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland Washington, and the University of Washington Keck Imaging Center. EMSL makes experimental and computational tools available to NNIN users. The Keck center offers instrumentation for confocal microscopy, multiphoton microscopy, widefield imaging, image restoration (deconvolution) and image analysis.
