Training

NTUF operates as a cost center available to graduate students, academic, non-profit, national laboratory, and industrial researchers. We will schedule you for training once we receive your registration.

Training consists of two sessions. The first session provides an in-depth introduction to the principles of the instrument and involves hands-on experiments with standard samples. In the second session, you will learn to work on your own samples. We may request additional practice sessions to qualify a user.

In addition to basic training on an instrument, some additional training on special techniques is offered from time to time. Please check the extra training list if you are interested in such extra training.
