Matt George publishes on hypoxia effects on mussel adhesive

Matt George, with undergraduate researcher Ben Pedigo, shows that mussel adhesive plaques do not strengthen when held in water that is low in dissolved oxygen, likely because DOPA cross-linking is disrupted.  The publication in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface is here.
