FireFamily Plus
The FireFamily Plus Version 3.05 software allows a user to review, summarize and analyze daily weather and fire occurrence observations, compute fire danger indices based on the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS), generate Season Reports (summaries of seasonal variations of fuel moistures, NFDRS indices, and components), use the Event Locator to search for a fire-ending event, and generate NFDRS firefighter pocket cards. The fire analysis and decision point tools in FireFamily Plus can be used to view and interpret combined weather and fire occurrence data. A user can also generate medium range fire danger projections based on current year-to-date weather, and develop fire weather scenarios. FireFamily Plus combines the fire climatology and occurrence analysis capabilities of the PCFIRDAT, PCSEASON, FIRES, and CLIMATOLOGY programs into a single package.
