rch, 2008

About the Series
The University of Washington NW Geriatric Education Center and UW Telehealth Services are partnering to bring a series of continuing education programs on geriatric healthcare professionals throughout Western Washington .  Utilizing presentations developed by the NW Geriatric Education Center, the series assists providers in developing and enhancing health promotion interventions to prevent disease and postpone further disability for the older adults they serve.
Nationally and regionally recognized faculty from the University of Washington present each topic and facilitate discussion. This series gives community-based providers working in the field of aging the opportunity  to access valuable information without having to travel a great distance!
The series will be broadcast weekly, Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm via the University of Washington Telehealth Network to potential rural sites from January 8 to March 11, 2008.
