How We Do It

Create partnerships with agency staff and form an evaluation team.
Practice in a culturally competent fashion.
Engage staff in reflective practice that clarifies the breadth and depth of the evaluation work.
Identify the range of stakeholders who are interested in the program's evaluation efforts.
Clarify the program outcomes - what the staff and clients hope to strengthen, decrease, increase, develop or establish - in the lives of clients.
Include the evaluation team in design and implementation decisions.
Choose the most feasible measurement approach to collecting data.
  Analyze the findings.
Identify the implications for future practice.
Ensure that all aspects of the evaluation are understandable and meaningful to the agency staff.
