Treatments for Lipid Disorders

Exercise

Regular physical activity raises HDL cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol) and reduces the risk of coronary heart disease.

Exercise also lowers blood triglycerides, helps prevent or reduce overweight, and can improve high blood sugar levels.

Increasing physical activity can improve the results you get from other treatments such as dietary changes and medication.
