What We Do

The Northwest Lipid Research Clinic was established in 1972 as one of twelve lipid study centers in the United States. Since that time we have conducted dozens of research studies, seen thousands of patients, and trained many health care professionals. The Northwest Lipid Research Clinic (NWLRC) has a broad range of services and skills to diagnose, treat, and educate you about lipids, endocrine disorders, and diabetes. The Clinic also conducts research studies in these areas.

Today our multidisciplinary team conducts:

Research

  • Pharmaceutical treatments for lipid and endocrine disorders
  • Hormone replacement therapy, birth control, diabetes & pregnancy
  • Dietary treatment of hyperlipidemia
