Training, Education & Advocacy in Miscarriage Management

TEAMM LogIntroduction

The goal of the Training, Education, and Advocacy in Miscarriage Management (TEAMM) project is to mainstream education and training in miscarriage management. We believe that office-based miscarriage management is an integral part of basic women's health care. In order to meet this goal it is essential that office-based management options are incorporated in the education and training for all clinicians and staff who interact with female patients of reproductive age. The project has demonstrated that it not only improves access to evidence-based miscarriage management curricula and clinical services, it also fosters space for conversations about comprehensive reproductive health services, including induced abortion, and the values of patient-centered, high-quality health care.
