WELCOME
The mission of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program is to provide academic, clinical, and scientific leadership in the Northwest to improve the health of workers and communities through research, the offering of clinical and public health services, and the teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and public health investigators.
The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program is jointly based in the School of Medicine (Department of Medicine) and the School of Public Health (Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences).
The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program has five major activities:
- An ACGME – accredited residency/fellowship program
- Clinical services in Occupational and Environmental Health
- Vigorous research programs
- Graduate training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine leading to a Master of Public Health degree
- Services to enhance the public health
