Assunta Ng, founder and publisher of the Seattle Chinese Post and Northwest Asian Weekly who has devoted her life to promoting and mentoring women and youth, is the 2011 recipient of the University of Washington’s Charles E. The new Diversity web site was recently unveiled and is featured on the University of Washington’s home page. The site has been transformed into a “portal” page, giving users broader access to diversity related services and resources throughout campus. Explore the new Diversity web site here.

Join ASUW Arts and Entertainment on January 19, 2011 as we celebrate one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. Spike Lee graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and was the first student to have their work featured in the Lincoln Center’s “New Directors New Film Festival.” His first feature film was “She’s Gotta Have It,” premiering only three years later.
